The Eastern sunrise. Probably the only thing keeping me around New York, fusing my thoughts of living the Californian dream once and for all. Besides my love for fall that is. But we can talk about Fall another grand time.
9:00am – A day in the life of little ol me.. Sleeping in isn’t really a thing or atleast I try not to let it be a “thing.” Coffee has been injected in my system and by 9:30 I have had already set up all my day’s meetings.
Black Coffee. 4 cups. And condensed milk, about 3 tablespoons worth. Doesn’t that kill you? But its what keep me living. So in my book that’s okay.
11:00am – Photoshoots are a part of my day. It’s like having meals. I can’t go a day without meals. Or, you die pretty much. So let’s see: Coffee and Photoshoots. Check.
11:30am – By this time, you probably are already super disgusted being in my shoes. So let’s talk about food. * squeals inserted*
LUNCHTIME: I am quite Filipino as you all know or atleast some of you (: HI GUYS. And when it comes to ingesting food, I am just as Filipino, if not twice as. Sinigang, Adobo, you name it, I eat it by the pound. I am very proud to say my origin. They’re a crazy race, but I love them a lot.
2:00pm: I am buried in my study answering emails and taking in conference calls in between brands, juggling my craft. After lunch hours are usually my busiest and usually the most fun since I get the most interaction with everyone at those hours.
I am obsessed with my craft. I think this is important. I think it’s important to know what you’re living for, why you’re here and what you’re here for. Everyone has a purpose and not only have I found mine, but I just so happen to be immensely in love with it as well. That strange pull of your passions, let yourself be drawn to that. Nothing else will feel more right that that. And if you haven’t figured it out yet, stay patient because no matter the circumstance, you will always end up where you were made to be at. Mine is right here, doing what I love.
5:57pm: Sunsets at the East aren’t quite as promising as the West but nevertheless I still try to make time and catch it. You can never be too busy to catch your breathe or else you lose it.
In between running to meetings, walking around show rooms, taking conference calls, I wouldn’t have been able to do it all with grace and poise without Shellys London. Those shoes are made for walkin, struttin and moving.
