I can think of the many times I’ve easily damaged my hair:
heat application, bleach, and waiting too long to get haircuts. Easily enough we almost forget to care for our mane’s integrity simply for quick gratification these days.
With that, we forget that with the lack of hair care, we not only damage our locks, but damage our scalp and new growth too!
I’ve recently learned that these two come together. After putting my hair through factors of damage, I’ve joined the #Pantene14DayChallenge and went ahead and used their Sheer Volume Collection that consisted of a shampoo, conditioner and a dry shampoo!
My hair: dry, damaged, flat was more tamed after a week’s use of Pantene’s Sheer Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. I also have natural waves that I’ve not embraced for so long due to its lack of volume. At week 2, I saw a huge difference within my roots. Where it used to be oily with dried out ends, creating a frizz instead of a bodied wave it was a more manageable, balanced and volumized head of hair!
A few tips I’ve kept in mind during these two weeks as well:
1. I’ve learned to only wash my hair every two days to not dry out my scalp and therefore not have it overproduce oils.
2. I’ve gone through the weeks without using any heat onto my hair.
With only two weeks of usage, I can’t even imagine how heathy my hair will become as I continuously use Pantene’s Sheer Volume Collection!
