I am officially over summer. But of course right when this whole “getting used to winter” starts mentally within me, Summer strolls in. Before it does, let’s sink into our favorite knits and forget the rest.

Sweaters don’t need to be boring. Which is everyone’s perception of winter : Sweaters=grandma. Okay, confessions by me state that I am a self glorified grandmama but maybe I don’t really count then. I pair sweaters with high top sneakers and grandma skirts that I’ve rigged with thigh high slits aka the 21st century grandma.

All it is is the yearn for the most comfortable, the hunt for the simple and freeing. Anything tight, itchy, crotch riding and just plain uncomfortable I have tossed out my window back in 2014. Listen to your body. Just as sweaters doesn’t equal boring, simplicity doesn’t equal unfashionable as well. Let me correct that known statement to the masses and state that Yes, you can be comfortable and simple but still give off that “who is she? I want that outfit” vibe in everyone’s mind when you walk into a room.
