Imperfections are beauty marks. They’re what makes you stand out in magical ways.
A change of scenery was certainly needed after being in between concrete all month long. New York has my heart but once in a while the West calls for me and reminds me why I left my soul there last time I visited. The wind and warmth was a breath of fresh air. Never have I thought that I would find something so dead, dry and quiet be beautiful. For miles nothing grew, nothing crawled , but as lifeless as it was, it was just as peaceful. It gave me something I never knew I was looking for, peace.
It wasn’t trying to fit in with the Californian beaches, or sandy shores. It was it’s own. It was magnificent all on it own. We are too. All on our own, we are magnificent in our imperfections. Be real, not perfect.
