We all have dream deep down the unwanted wasted hours at our desk job. They’re those dreams that we constantly kill by telling ourselves to be realistic. But let’s be real, you only have one chance to live, why waste it on living a life you never wanted? Why waste the person you were meant to become? Everyone’s got a choice. YOU have a choice.
It took three months of planning this event on the low. I didn’t think that the party I envisioned would turn into a reality that unfolded right in front of my eyes. “What’s the catch?”, I asked Ugg Australia as we spoke about holding the party on their beautiful terrace overlooking luxurious 5th avenue Manhattan. “Nothing. We just want to support you wholeheartedly,” was their response.

Chandon was in and so were the guys at Selvarey rum who flew all the way from Canada to come and support. They even created a GreyLayers Drink Menu, naming the drinks as “The greylayers dancing juice.” which consisted of their classic cacao rum and white rum created into one of a kind mojitos that got everyone dancing at the terrace.

Though the entire event was Monochromatic themed, each one came with brightness in their hearts.
It was fantastic seeing everything flow accordingly as planned but what was even more amazing was that everyone who has supported me and my blog, every brand, every person, every sponsor were all in the same room with one thing in common : Love and support for GreyLayers. GreyLayers brought all 167 people together. THAT to me is everything. Seeing everyone there, all 167 guests come and celebrate what was once a dream left me blown away.
