Mother Nature sure rained on everyone’s parade in Miami but when life gives you lemons, make that chocolate cake and and leave everyone wonder how you did it. Am I right or am I right?

Ladurée and Bollare asked me to host their BollarexBasel brunch and of course I agreed! No matter how monochromatic inside and out I may be, the little girl who loves pink pastels and ballerinas still lives in me. The set up was simple but ever so tasteful. Of course they were the sweetest ( no pun intended), for creating the set up to match me: marble tables lines up parallels to each other, Gold rimmed ceramic saucers with hand painted florals on each corner and they even printed out a few of my Instagram worthy photos and displayed them on each long table. GUYS, really though that was so cute! But the best part was : the people I saw and shared the meal with. Genuine, loving creatives who have been long time friends of mine. Ending my Miami trip with that made up for mother nature’s bad behavior. We made that chocolate cake , and ate it too!
