Sequins, satin, laces and glitter – what makes up everybody’s holiday look. Why does everyone want to match their lawns? Different is the new black.
Even better, comfortable is the new black. With that being said, leave your heels and all that glitter in you closet and celebrate the season with a look you know you’d rather go for other than your usual bodycon open back red sequin dress ( not that there’s anything utterly wrong with it .) Your most comfortable skirt, and favorite cotton top. As for the glitter ? Well you don’t necessary have to leave it all out *wink*wink. Teva x Honestly WTF x Swarovski gave me the perfect excuse to add just the right amount of pizzaz into my holiday look.
Combining Swarovski crystals with Teva’s platform sandals gave my look a whole new height ( no pun intended). I even got to create the design on my sandals, which is one of my two favorite parts about this entire situation. The second favorite part you ask? Well it’s just being able to wear sandals in December while everyone’s busy wearing heels and knee high boots.
To dress up my platforms a little bit more just for the occassion, I added in my favorite pair of socks from Richer Poorer. Nothing too crazy as not to clash with the crystals, but just that right amount of sass and statement.
