I thought I could find a home in not having one.
I have known the taste of salt water , and the smell of decaying forests, and the cracks in the hundreds of sidewalks I’ve trecked on. I have loved the gas pedal. Admired the skies, and the airport concourses, and the ever changing times zones in all of these places. I thought I could find a home in not having one. I have chased the sun across so many skies. Not yet ready to admit, you never catch up.
Travel is a blessing and a beautiful thing. To learn a completely different culture, make a thousand and one mistakes along the way, meet new streets and bump into lustful new sights. It’s a beautiful thing.
The best part,
It makes you learn to appreciate home.
Side note: I’ve created this skirt out of my favorite jacket from The Frock NY. I absolutely adore this look. It’s put together yet not. It’s a mistake that’s now a reliable staple in my book.
