The Epidermis is known to me the outermost layer. Filled with color, she is what keeps you (waterproof), strong and tough. She is what you see.
You see me as a girl. You see me as someone who posts on the internet about her life, her work, her travels and her in betweens. You see my words, you see my style, you read my thoughts written so loud. But so does everyone else.
Humans have a knack for being judgemental. I can’t say I’m exempted from the category. #Guilty. We look before listening and judge books by their covers. This is why I created her.
Here I am, sharing my everyday story, every day. Here I am, writing. In hopes to touch lives, spark a fire, start a ruckus, ignite a bulb. In hopes to move. I created GREYLAYERS, not because of my love for monochrome and all things clean and minimal. Nor is she just another piece of the web.
She holds my layers. She holds who I am. She makes me up. So look, don’t simply see. Look beyond the minimal, the Grey hair, the clean and simple. There is more. It has been three beautiful years and my only wish is to continue what I created and that is first and foremost, transparency. This is your life. This is your voice. Keep it honest. Keep it real. But also keep it fun. All judgements aside, welcome to my Epidermis.
