The summer struggle is over . I never understood that floral, multi-colored, extended Coachella vibe look. Until I created looks using Bar III pieces.
I’m one to love my blacks and whites even in the heat of New York City’s summer. Spewing bohemian rhapsodic floral infused maxis were just never for me (well, perhaps once upon a time). But then again, times are tough for the monochromatic miss in the warmer seasons, especially when the hearts just yearn to wear black but can’t, thanks to the 90 degree heat. Until Bar III. ” Who would have thought”, you might think. Same here girl, same here. There is hope for blacks and whites in the summer. You have them to thank for that.
Monochromatic with the right amount of floral fever plus a great way to breathe through the heat. How amazing is this shirt? A black laced bra underneath, paired with white culottes that are also from Bar III collection and capped with strappy velvet bow sandals and you’re set for Mimosas with the girls or a cute date night out with Mr. Right.
I’m so excited to announce that am taking part in BAR III’s #settingthebar campaign to share how a strong outfit can change everything and help you attain so much! Setting the bar is never only pertaining to reaching it, but setting it for yourself and others as well. We all have voices. Whether it is through dancing, singing, painting, making coffee, or dressing up, set the bar highest for yourself, that way others can see how fabulous reaching it is too.
I grew up making do with my wardrobe of what may look like a conservative mom’s daughter would look (because I am). Making do with jeans, long sleeved shirts, long skirts and high cut tees heightened my creativity and pushed me to cut and sew my own clothes from my own closet. Being able to make my own first two-piece bikini from a one piece, tank tops from my high cut shirts and high waisted shorts from my mom’s old jeans was pretty impressive 10 years ago. Impressive enough that I got a trend starting in my 9th grade class. Soon enough everyone started cutting their jeans. Set your own bar, reach it and inspire others to do the same!
Bar III has a unique contemporary flow, mixed with tons of great versatile pieces that you can wear tons of ways and tons of times over! Tune in as I share how to get very versatile with Bar III soon. For now, check them out right here.
