Portofino was nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Cotton candy colored houses all lined up next to the bluest hue of ocean. The Italian riviera was mind blowing.
Something so surreal like this little town seemed like it stepped right out of a movie. We climed up the terraces to gain better views while clinging onto our gelatos. I didn’t quite know how to process the experience entirely because it was a heap all at once where you find your eyes never wanting to look away from.
Little stores were structured throughout the mountainous town. We got lost through local restaurants and tiny shops selling all kinds of goods from lemons, to embroidered place mats. The culture and beauty was best seen through the locals of Portofino. Kind hearted, full of life and content. They were the happiest batch I’ve seen. Whether it came from the air, or their exquisite pastas, I had the honor of exploring their way of life through this one of a kind city with Sanuk.
