When you’re juggling a company, a full time second shift at home running a household, raising a puppy and in charge of a handful of employees, you know there are days where you just wanna hit snooze and just … not. I know because I’ve been there. But what really get’s done when you brush things off? Here’s how to not:
- Organize, organize, organize – Organize your time like you organize your clothes in color coordinated ways. Allot six hours to your brand, two hours for household duties, forty-five minutes for your pup and always save an hour for yourself and help you find clearer focus.
- It’s okay to take a step back – This never means you hit that snooze. This means you are taking it on a slower pace. Slower never means stop. It means going but more carefully. Not a bad thing, promise.
- Ask for help when needed – Not a weakness my friends. It’s a strength mostly overlooked as such. We are so caught up trying to be hands on with everything in our lives that we forget to be human. To breathe. To recharge. To relax. For one minute. For one sec. Hire someone to help you run your brand, or clean up a little over at your little humble abode. You’re investing to spend on someone else to lend a helping hand or two, you’ll be surprised how much you’ll get done without overly stressing yourself.
When the tough gets going, get tougher. Getting tougher never means doing things by yourself. It only means being smarter. Good luck and go get it.
