Love is so easy to give. We can’t help it. We water. We give. We just overflow with virtue and most times we aren’t aware.
The wedding taught me a multitude of lessons. Both good and bad. Both made me grow and learn. Learn that you can’t fill another with an empty cup.
That you cannot be the gardener most times, sometimes you ought to be the garden too. That life is of give and take and never relying on only one or the other. I’ve learned that no one would love me like myself and that we have to give ourselves the same love we so willingly give everyone else.
Though as strong as I may seem, I am just as human. Just as soft, as tactile and sensitive as any delicate flower garden.
