How to: Daily Routine with Brushcraft

A well blended face starts with a great skincare foundation and the best brushes behind ’em. I prep with Olay’s anti aging moisturizer and a drop of Clarins double serum to hydrate completely. Once my skin is all set I dab my favorite tinted moisturizer on. One pump is all I need when using Brushcraft’s Oval 6. Bake. (The kind that never needs preheating! ) I use Laura Mercier’s translucent powder under my eyes, on my cheekbones and down my jawline to set and prep for contouring. Scratch out the beauty blender– the Oval 6 bakes the best. It transports the perfect amount powder leaving nothing to waste! My personal favorite part — contouring. Using the Oval 6 with Kat Von D’s contour palette, I’m able to create perfect shadows under my cheekbones and jawline. Brows. Not my most favorite thing to do in the world but with Brushcraft’s linear brush, brow games come easier, faster and stronger! Lippies ! I love playing with lip colors! You black out. – can we have a redo ? I was too shocked to keep my eyes open. No one tells you how you completely black out, blank out and lose brain oxygen during the moment. You get weird text messages from aunt sally who you never knew existed. – random numbers start to text you congratulations meanwhile you have no one’s number saved because you filtered out your social life at one point during one of your #adulting sessions. #NewPhoneWhoDis or more like #NewLifeWhoDis You’ll have a bad hair day and most likely have a bad zit on the day. – my hair had pounds of dry shampoo, face looking like it was ready to fry an egg and of course it’s that one day you decide to live in your favorite overly worn, 2 week old smelly sweater. Oh how appropriate. You won’t be able to stop staring at your hand. – You have this amazing new piece of jewelry on your finger. That alone, plus the once-in-a-lifetime significance of the symbol, is enough to make you want to stare compulsively at your ring finger. Even if you’re not a “jewelry person,” you’re still obsessed. You’ll have to tell the proposal story millions of times. – luckily for me, Varick created a facebook live video to show the whole world what was happening. Thank god for social media. People will ask about location and dates before you even have a chance to think about it. – can we chill? Not everyone will be happy for you. – haters gonna hate and potatoes gonna potate. You can’t help it. Either way…. Your friends and family will be there. – and that’s the only thing that counts – the realest ones being there to make it even more memorable. I’ll be taking you along on this huge journey !
