1. Navy Blue is your new best friend. Navy is the new black. Kill fall fabulously with all things navy. 2. Stand by the mantra of having two statement pieces in a single outfit. The louder the better ~ in ways of class of course. 3. Just because you are in the business of blogging does not mean you forget about your character and culture. Leave egos at the door. Stay respectful, collaborative, curious and open minded. Be kind to the people you meet along your way up . You will meet them again when you visit downtown. As a friend has mentioned once, ” Change the game, don’t let the game change you.” Amaze September and she will amaze you right back. It is a total myth that men’s fashion is boring; there’s just a bit of a different way of appreciating the beauty of masculine fashion. Dapper menswear pieces don’t just look good on guys, they drape on ladies quite nicely too! Short dresses and strappy club heels are out. Grab a few baggier pieces , mixed with a dash of feminine charm and you are a new woman. Whoever said these holsters were only for men will be begging to differ after reading into how amazing this product is. Hand stitched in Canada and made for only the most dapper, I am currently looking at saying goodbye to my wallet and tote. Not to mention that I feel pretty bad ass wearing this custom tailored camel toned holster from LD West. In Collaboration with LD West. Jeanne wears [ blazer from Acne Studios, Boyfriend Jeans from Evolve Clothing Gallery, Oxfords from Urban Outfitters ] Thank you Varick for the photos.

Here it is! Something I’ve wanted to share since we shot it! The more I work locally to build GreyLayers, the more I come to realize that the East coast is such a breeding ground for some of the industry’s greatest talents. It’s something in the water – or something in the light, perhaps. Maybe early swims in the ocean build our creative brains. Who the hell knows. I just know I like it. A few weeks ago, I was the biggest dork pinching myself to be working with one of the world’s most celebrated brands, and a fresh face co-host . Yes it’s a dream. Or it feels like a dream. I am hosting Gypsy Warrior‘s first ever blogger styling event. WHEN: August 24, 2014 WHERE: 2pm-5pm at Gypsy Warrior’s Hoboken New Jersey Location : WHAT? A creative concoction full of bubbly, cupcakes, and goodie bag giveaways. An afternoon filled with guest bloggers, photos , free wardrobe styling and meet and greets! Come hang out with Taylor and I and meet the designers and mastermind sweethearts of the brand, Gypsy Warriors. Writing that down just made it real. I haven’t stopped pinching myself since their email. A little sneak peak of the photoshoot done by Vogue Published photographer Denisse Benitez with my cutie co-host model and actress, Taylor Lashae . See you all there!

Romper and heels to slowly transition myself into the new season. Yes a bit too early you say, but Mother nature dissents. Focus. Fall is coming. Which only means one thing: New York Fashion week and my back to school spread with YHM magazine’s fall issue. Collaborations, Collaborations and lists of event. Okay, that’s more than one. Excuse my excitement. But for now, I am pleased to say that I just got back from my interview with Star Central Magazine as their Fashionista of the month for August 2014 To every single one of you around the globe who voted, many thanks! Jeanne [ wears Aztec Black and White Romper from Miami Posh Boutique, Sling back strappies from Zara, Tote from Town House Shops.] Thanks Varick for the Photos.

Space 46 Boutique and their one of a kind curations have not ceased to amaze me. First their tulle skirt – Skyllar, feminine and delicate. Then a completely different feel to a skirt in their company, say hi to their Swing Skirt! As seen on other bloggers styled more feminine, I decided to give mine a bit more of an urban twist. Yes, those are Air Jordans ~ Don’t judge. Jeanne wears [ Backless Bodysuit by Ruby and Jenna, Swing Skirt by Space46 Boutique, hat by Urban Outfitters, Sneakers by Nike] Post in Collaboration with Space46 Boutique as seen in Bloomingdale’s. Thank you Varick for the photos.
